I know what your wondering, is there really chicken in that latte? The answer is no. It's actually not even a latte. The chicken fried latte is a cold, frosty, coffee, peanut butter, chocolate, banana smoothie of sorts. It's really delicious and refreshing on a hot day, but I'm still unsure as to why it's called a chicken fried latte.

Certainly you should try the chicken fried latte. Although not listed on the menu, you can get both coconut and almond milk with your lattes. Service is great! Why support Starbucks when you can support these guys?

Cold coffee. They charged us for a scone and THEN said they were out. Cold bagel, even though I ordered it toasted. The almond flavoring for the latte tasted cheap and unpleasant. The wait was also ridiculous for a single car in front of us.

What a cool little find on our way down from Estes Park - I'll be honest, the sign for a Chicken Fried Latte caught my eye and forced me to make a u-turn and enter the drive thru... You're immediately overwhelmed with, what seems like, hundreds of options, flavors, named drinks, etc. We ordered the Chx Fried Latte and a Pumpkin Latte. They were also so nice with our 1.5 year old and made him a 'milk latte' (don't worry, no coffee)! The service was relatively speedy, definitely kind, and the drinks both in name and taste were inventive and tasty. Make sure to stop on your way down from Estes.

Chicken fried latte. "WTC"!!!!!! (What the chicken) Come on now. Hiking up RMNP 16 years and some New York bald headed former wrestler throws our hiking group a good ole fashion latte beat down today! OMG. The chiicken fired latte kills. The homemade whip cream on top of a iced peanutbutter based expresso orgaism. It fried my brain man. Tons of other secret things in the drink. I have no idea. A million calories after the summits we hit was a gift from god. (of course, its the god of ur understanding). Who cares! Order one.

home of the chicken fried latte! just to save you the hassle of having to ask what it is or driving through to find out, it's basically a latte with so much junk in it, it probably has the same caloric density as a bucket of fried chicken ( summitviewcoffee.com/a-c… ). staff, service, and coffee here is tops. the coffee here is sourced from a local roaster ( silvercanyoncoffee.com ) which shows in the flavor. the honey latte was a car favorite. btw, it's drive through only.

Interesting little drive-thru coffee shop. Our barista was very pleasant and added to the experience. I did have to go with the chicken fried latte and was not disappointed. I usually never go for sugary coffee drinks but made the exception in this case and wasnt disappointed.

Great coffee, great service! This coffee house is my savior whenever we go camping at RMNP. I get a latte the moment we arrive and the moment we leave, and sometimes I drive out from our campsite for one in between, when instant coffee starts getting to me.

I'm from California, and everyday when we drove past Summitview Coffee and I saw the "chicken fried latte" sign I was intrigued. EVERY DAY i asked to get one and I FINALLY got one today (I was about to give up bc the power was out for a little bit). This drink is not for the faint of heart. If you have a sweet tooth this is definitely for you. It tastes like a icy chocolate peanut butter shake. I love ice blended drinks and thats exactly what it was. It's sweet but I dont feel sick after. The Large was practically a meal. The owner and his daughter were so nice and the drinks were made very quickly. The owner even gave me a Large while charging me for a small because it was my first time trying it, which was SO NICE, and not something any other coffee shop owner would do. If I ever come back to CO, I'll definitely be trying more of their drinks.

We're not allowed to do anything else on our first day in Estes Park until my daughters get their Chicken Fried Latte fix in. Fortunately, they work it off in the RMNP. Don't expect to hang out though. This is a drive through only. Get your coffee. Fortify yourself and get hiking.

This was a surprise! Many of these little coffee stands aren't great, but this one was phenomenal. I got the cafe au lait, my husband got a specialty drink (forgot what it's called) at the manager's suggestion. The manager threw in a free ice cream cone for my son, then gave us excellent advice on where to hike in the area. Great service, great coffee!

Yep, the fried chicken latte is a naming gimick. They craft some flavors together in a frozen drink to "approximate"(?) fried chicken. Kind of how it sounded. Tons of other recipes that they have worked out, and offered. I'm an unflavored type, and had a short breve. Excellent. Fresh beans, locally roasted. Good drink. My partner had a Chipmonk frozen something. White chocolate, amaretto, and she said that it was really good. We walked up, it is a dual drive through, . La Marzocco three head unit, and a dual La San Marco (it looked like one, anyway). Dual La Marzocco auto grinder. So they are running good equipment with them beans. Took away a star, simply because drive through only. It could become an issue with the person in front of you looking over the menu of 40 drink recipes. Each has a cute name, so it takes 5-10 minutes simply to absorb the menu. Estes Park seems to have some great coffee options, and this is definitely one of them.
